Mr. Trena (Train) Baber

Trena joined the Corps in August of 1979 from Dawson, Texas. After undergoing Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA he was assigned the MOS of 1142 (Electrical Engineer). After basic training he was assigned to Camp Lejeune, NC for MOS training. Upon completion of MOS training he was off to 1st Marine Air Wing in Okinawa, Japan. After his tour in Okinawa, Trena went to Camp Pendleton for a spell and back to Okinawa. Trena was released from active duty in September, 1983 with an honorable discharge at the rank of Lance Corporal. Since his release from active duty, he is married and the father of two children. Trena is currently a truck driver for Southern Mail Services, which is a contract US Postal Service Transport Company. Trena and his wife and children are involved in church and several community activities.
